Transaction Limits

What Are Transaction Limits?

Transaction limits are defined for your RocketKOR account according to your risk tolerance. These limits determine the maximum transaction amounts allowed when sending money from RocketKOR Financial Accounts.

Transaction limits are set at several levels. The following limits are defined during the onboarding process:

  • Parent Business Account
  • Child Business Accounts

You can set and manage the following transaction limits using the RocketKOR APIs or Portal:

  • Customer Accounts
  • Internal and integrated bank Financial Accounts belonging to a Customer Account
  • Internal and integrated bank Financial Accounts belonging to a Business Account

The following transaction limits are applied to your Parent Business Account, Child Business Accounts, Customer Accounts, and Financial Accounts:

  • Single  Maximum amount allowed for a single transaction.
  • Daily  Maximum cumulative amount allowed for a single day (00:00 – 23:59:59:59 EST).
  • Weekly  Maximum cumulative amount allowed for a rolling 7-day period.
  • Monthly  Maximum cumulative amount allowed for a rolling 30-day period.

Transaction limits are enforced as part of a hierarchy, as shown in the following diagram. Transaction limits set at the higher levels of the hierarchy are inherited by the lower levels. Inherited transaction limits can be overridden at any level.

Transaction Limits by Currency

Business Accounts can have transaction limits for different currencies. For example, a Business Account may have separate transaction limits for USD and CAD currencies. Customer Accounts and Financial Accounts have transaction limits for a single currency only.
